Bahasi Orphanage Needs Your Support

Malawi's economic condition is marked by a severe and protracted crisis, characterized by high inflation, food insecurity, and declining living standards. The economy is heavily reliant on agriculture, but growth has been impacted by climate shocks, insufficient forex for imports, and fiscal imbalances. Recent forecasts project slow GDP growth due to a weaker agricultural season and other challenges, while public debt remains high and poverty persists. Maintaining high rates of poverty, with 75% of the population living on less than $3.00/day, one of the highest in the region

So now wonder, unsupported Orphanages like Bahasi, have the hardest of times to meet daily normail operations. They have a number of donors that support whenever they can, but much more is needed.

To stress, the importance to raise funds for Bahasi, we like to share with you that Malawi and its people must deal, without government support, with extreme poverty, expensive food and transportation and energy cost, due to inflation.
